OMG OMG the sky TONIGHT (right now!!) looks JUST like that! I noticed it when I was driving home. You can only see the moon in one particular spot - the middle of the median of a four lane road. I absolutely would have stopped on the road to take a picture if the people who drive in my area at this time weren't such assholes who would undoubtedly run me over without an afterthought.
what an effort. They are really dramatic photos. I do want to take pictures of night sky on my way from work but can't as I have to drive. that would be just too dangerous wouldn't it?
