As you can probably tell I'm going for a more relaxed look, I'm technically on my summer holiday after all. I'm meant to be going to University at 6pm today, because they are posting the pass list. Buuut, seeing as I'm a tad too ill to actually go and also the fact that I missed an exam because I was ill and have to sit it at the end of August...I doubt my name will be on that list!
Anyways, I went for shades of blue today, given that the sun seems to have disappeared from yesterday and I wasn't in the mood for bright colours. It's pretty basic: white t-shirt with a blue fine striped shirt on top (technically meant to be worn with a suit, but I think the transition into casual works) and a linen summer scarf hung loosely around my neck. Bottom half is simply some slim fitting jeans with pinpoint rolled ends so the ankles are slightly more tapered (yup, I have rather spindly legs, but they're my legs so I love them). Footwear as you can see are the Espadrilles I recently bought, I love them!
Oh seeing as I rarely talk about scent, I'm currently wearing L'Eau D'Issey Pour Homme by Issey Miyake, it's a fresh herbacous scent with some woody undertones. The main notes being tangerine, blue water lily, saffron, musk, amber tobacco, sandalwood, cypress and cinnamon bark from ceylon. Check it out some time in the perfume section, it's very summery.
Oh and thank you to the people who actually read the post directly below, it's long I know, but I'd like to think it's important in some way to put that message out there.

ReplyDeleteHey thanks for the comment. Yeah the skirt was a little big, so, I got the magnificent light bulb of an idea to wear it higher up and of course incorporating a bright pop of color for the top, was a little weary at first..but it worked. I was impressed with the photos when I was done.
ReplyDeletePS: Do you really taste of Strawberry? :P LOL! Just read that..
Oops, forgot to mention. I love the way you worked in that scarf with the crisp button up, makes it casual yet chic all at once. And great idea for the shoes. I'm impressed with the outcome. :)
