A Day At The Circus

Vogue Italia
April 2007
Model: Karen Elson
Photographer: Steven Meisel

It has been a number of years since I last felt compelled to leave my life behind and join the circus. For the first occurence, the Disney classic Dumbo was to blame.

  9. Dumbo was such a beloved favourite when I was younger. I remember being so happy for him when he learned to fly and was reunited with his mother!

  15. I just read that Steven Meisel has shot every cover of Vogue Italia since 1988. His best work ever has to be that Versace campaign he did with Amber Valetta. I think I have them in my fashion binder.
