Sleepy London

Fun, fun, fun...
Plus a good time for shooting a few rolls of film.

Although apparently London has ground to a halt.
The worst snow in 18 years? - I think Canada are laughing.

Currently playing: Fascination Street - The Cure

  1. I can't believe how snowy that part of Europe is. I honestly can't wait for it to get here because we always had 4 feet of snow every year when I was a kid :)

  2. we still have snow left over from the two and a half (or so) feet. (i'm in canada, so yes, i am laughing) is it bothersome to you? or are you indifferent?

  4. Minnesota might be chuckling a little, too ... but it sure does look like you got a decent snow dump! I suggest building a fort.

  5. Darn this sudden snow, we've got it pretty bad up here in Edinburgh too.
It may be annoying, but snow sure helps produce lovely pictures.

Also, kudos to you for listening to Fascination Street. It's my favourite Cure song :]

  18. I am liking those shoes a lot.
I know it is so typical of Britain to completely fall apart with this much snow...

  23. Don`t worry...I`m not laughing (I live in Canada). It must be hard for you people to adjust though, I mean, since its been 18 years since you had it. We`re a bit more prepared a it happens every year

  25. I knew you would have the most fabulous pictures. I was stuck at work while London frolicked in the snow. It's pretty pathetic how a few inches ground the capital to a halt..

  26. How beautiful! These photos look like they should be on postcards! I am so jealous right now! It's 80 degrees in Southern California. I wish it was cool enough to wear winter clothes =(

  27. Somehow the snow around campus doesn't look even half as pretty as it does by you... it's mostly turned to this terrible blackish color from the car exhaust and all the pollution I guess!
Gorgeous photos DK! Stay warm, dear.

  28. omg... as soon as i saw this on the news i came to see if you had pictures!!! as much as i hate cold weather.. i can't wait until it snows here!

  29. I was tempted to take a few photos too. I am slightly ashamed when other places are so snowy and deal with it all the time and everything stops for us in the UK. Though, it is much worse in London than it is in Birmingham!

  36. AS a Canadian this really doesn't measure up to our worst snow falls ... they usually reach the height of a house, but I am only taking about the worst.
Enjoy it, it looks really calm... nothing beats calm snowy days:)
