Is It Christmas Yet?

When I was younger, I remember how long it took for Christmas to come each year. Nowadays it seems Christmas is upon us without winter even having really announced herself (I always think of winter as a woman due to the Snow Queen). This year, to be honest, I still do not quite feel like it is winter, although the weather is cold and the skies dark, there is little of the trademark rain and dirty ice of London. However I have been in the Christmas spirit, so to speak, and feel extremely excited for the upcoming festivities.

I love seeing the decorations people put up on their houses, and the wreaths on the front door, it seems that everyone and everything is more joyful. Whatever holiday you may be celebrating this time of year, I think the idea of people coming together and having fun is a lovely one.

This is not really an outfit post, I shall be more Christmas-y for Christmas Eve, tomorrow, and of course Christmas Day.

*Ahem* This post technically does not exist....

  1. Well, the color does suit you..

Oh, its been so hard to have much Christmas fun here. Ice storms, horrific cold temps. My car being sick which is making me sick..making up hours at work, lack of time to Christmas shop. & darn more snow on top of it. Its making me so tired..

But Happy Holidays! Wishing you lots of joy with your friends and family.

  3. I know what you mean; I can't believe Christmas is in two days. I certainly know winter is here (1 1/2 feet of snow can attest to that!). I hope you have a glorious holiday with your family and friends! :D

  11. I love the skinny tie and that looks like a very comfy sweater.

I think that time goes by a lot faster as you get older. That's one of the reasons why I miss being a kid :P
