Day Off

I have been bed bound for the past few days, which is for some reason never quite as appealing in actuality as it seems when you sometimes think about the idea following hours of work. Today however I have fortunately been feeling slightly better and as such I thought I would post my 'day off' outfit, so to speak. Simple sweats and a Bathing Ape t-shirt, with matching dark green socks out of shot. I have also been wearing a beanie to ward off the cold. That phrase, 'ward off the cold' always fills my mind with the image of a line of Roman troops with their shields lined up and short swords angled over the top of them. That being one of the many images I have connected to various phrases and sayings!

  2. Awwww, I hope you feel better! I remember battling the cold during my study abroad in England. My roommate and I would just pour cough syrup into our tea to fight off sore throats. It didn't taste that great, so I don't really recommend doing it unless you're really desperate to get better. Was I hallucinating or did there used to be a pic of a child on here?

  3. You get that image, from the flu advert, when the guy with the big nose is standing there and the army people are charging at him from all angles.
and then he takes the medicine (i think its beechams) and they disappear.
you don't know what i'm talking about do you? I watch too much TV.

    get better soon

  10. Feel better!
I miss those days from primary school when being sick meant staying home in footie pajamas and watching cartoons. And your image-saying association tendencies made me giggle. I do that all the time too!
