Bring me the short winter days...

As the weather gradually becomes cooler and harsher, one can not help but feel the luxurious draw of warm and cosy fabrics. I recently discovered Vancouver based designers, Granted, who specialise in premium hand knitted woolen garments. For me, such snug pieces are perfect for winter, spending the cold days outdoors with your friends as it becomes darker. And eventually coming home in the late evening to curl up in a warm blanket with a hot cup of tea...the yearn of winter beckons.

  8. Knitted woolen garments are fantastic. I just bought a big light blue knitted jumper with pink pattern and I just love everything about it. Can't wait to wear it, I'll probably never take it off when the weather becomes colder.

Great song choice yet again :)

  20. Sadly Winter's just passed down here but being so close to the Antartic we get the odd immense gush of cold.

Knits and shrugs and thick scardies give such nostalgic feelings. Perhaps because as a kid my mother would rug me up in far too many clothes lol.

  21. Now I'll have to dig out my sweaters..somehow, I always just want to buy new ones though. But I seldom do. Although, there might actually be some good prices on sweaters now..than when you actually need them.
