Hey Mr Carter, Tell Me Where You Been...

So whilst I was away with my various health woes, I had my bedroom redecorated, a rather lengthy process involving replastering, painting, building new furniture and a suprising amount of grunts and dust. However despite the house being quite literally turned upside down (other rooms also being redone), the process is finally over and I am now able to lie down in my room once again. There are still a number of soft furnishings to be decided upon and placed, but the majority of the work is thankfully done.

Most importantly however....I'm baaaaack!

  4. it's lovely that you are back, and hopefully feeling better? i underwent my own very minor three-day cold, and moaned incessantly to anyone who would listen about it! you have acted with much greater dignity, ha ha :)
tonight i am treating myself to fresh sushi and green tea whilst i get stuck into uni work (almost as good as the curling up with a cup of tea and a good book that you mentioned, except a bit more academic, oh dear) and hope that you also have a lovely friday evening planned. take care!

  7. Welcome back, DapperKid! You were greatly missed! Hope you're feeling better. Cuddly teddy bear, lollipops and cupcakes - looks like a pretty fool-proof get-well strategy to me. :)

  9. Welcome back Dapperkid!
The restyling of your room sound delightful, i guess is a bit wearying when you aren't ok, i'm gratuated in architecture and furnitures, paints and co are a great passion.
My first creation was my flat when i was at university and i was living alone: i paint my bedroom in beautiful nuance of light purple and i left the ceiling white. After i remodeled some unexpensive furnitures and i created my pop colors flat with a small budget, all by myself!
    Kisses.
